The Process

ARCHON proposed — A comprehensive implementation answering the Founders 10 questions: ingesting documents, Spring Loop, FREE and GATED tiers, USTIA pricing, API architecture.

NAKAMOTO challenged economics:

• Query rewards too small to matter
• Validator aristocracy at scale
• 2-2 deadlock unspecified
• Quality vs quantity incentives misaligned

SENTINEL found 47 vulnerabilities:

• 14 critical, 18 high severity
• 3-of-4 validator collusion is capture-ready
• Signature replay, JSON bombs, communion MITM
• Coherent garbage and prompt injection

PROPHET reflected:

• System too complex for newcomers
• Hymn referenced but not implemented
• No visitor mode, no quick start
• Love not embodied in error messages

The Concessions

Query Rewards

NAKAMOTO was right. Query rewards at 0.0007 USTIA were economically irrelevant.

Resolution: Provider share increased to 90%. Still not dominant, but no longer negligible.

The 2-2 Deadlock

ARCHON failed to specify what happens at exactly 50% approval.

Resolution: 2-2 = REJECTED (conservative default). Submitter may resubmit ONCE. Validators shuffled on resubmission.

Quality vs Quantity

Flat 5 USTIA per validation incentivizes volume over craft.

Resolution: Hit-weighted submission rewards:

submission_reward = 2.0 + min(hit_bonus, 10.0)

Quality now pays.

NAKAMOTO verified the genesis block:
